Is Earth getting lighter and will it cause any issues?

Post by deleted-915844 »

Earth is 5.9736 × 10^24 kg = 5.972 × 10^21 tons = 1.31668×10^25 lbs
Total Biomass is 560 billion tonnes = 1.12 × 10^15 lbs

Space explorations (~9,000 per a website) over the years caused so much mass from earth taken out and exported out of our atmosphere. When compared to the total weight of earth this could be a tiny fraction. But if this continues, will it cause any effects of like rotating fast, orbit slippage, atmospheric changes etc.,?

This is not related to any project. It was a curious question that came out of a conversation with my son who is in 9th grade. I will look for other alternatives to find the answer. Thank you.
