I used to kid around with a friend of mine whose father was the head of the National Weather Service that it's amazing people get paid to be wrong so often.

You need to do a search on "Weather Forecast Accuracy" with Google, answers.com, ask.com, etc.

One site I found was:
http://www.forecastadvisor.com/
This site has statistics for your zip code for last month and last year. Someone remind me not to use Accuweather any more.

You will need to research the question yourself. We are here to help, but not to do the work for you.

Hi CS....
My best references (my eyes and ears) have taught me that 3 days is as far as weather can be somewhat relied on....do your own tests. Record the weather forecast for the next 3 days and see if it actually comes to pass!

Also, look at a "5 day forecast" and do the same. :D

Also remember that forcasts are for an area or for the airport. I live in an area with lots of "micro-climates". It can be raining at my house and sunshine a 1/4 mile away. The point is, be sure that you are comparing "apples to apples".

You need to provide more information. What type of cell? Optical, electrical, biological?

Additionally, please start a new topic/thread for your questions.
