Electronics for a Bluetooth Speaker Sculpture

Post by sagacityx »

Hello all. I am working on a Bluetooth Speaker Sculpture. I can use some help configuring out how to wire the electronic components (motors, LEDs, and receiver/controller). The bluetooth speaker is already configured. I attached a picture to give a visual of the project.. Please excuse the typos. I've watched multiple videos and got a general idea. However, none of the videos have how to connect everything together.

In summary, I need something that will support 9 LEDs and two motors. The actual piece is stationary. The tires will run off of one motor (2 directional and speed control). The trunk will be on the other one. I would also like it to be wireless and controlled by a receiver.

Details from the picture:
Far left top corner: the inspiration
Various colored shapes: The underside.. Gold is the trunk area, teal is the bluetooth control pod, purple are the seats, red is where the tires will be placed

The red x's mark where the LEDs will be placed.. Will be encased in red and whitish plexiglass.. The middle LED is the license plate light

Bottom right corner is the remote design.. On/off switch for lights, on/off switch for motors (Not pictured), joystick to control speed and direction, knob to control trunk motor. Will be encased in gold mirror plexiglass..

The trunk has not been made yet

Bottom left corner: pictured are the tires.. Each with be about 5" x 2".. Will be hollowed out

Once configured, everything will be enclosed and covered with wood/polystyrene

Is this for a student (K-12) project? These forums are specifically for supporting student projects. If your project is outside of this scope, we recommend using other online forums for input.
