Hello!

That's an interesting project! If you are presenting to a city- or state-wide science fair, they may have guidelines on their website, so I would recommend looking at those. You can use it as a rubric or checklist. For example, some science fairs require that you make a trifold poster board to present your findings while others may prefer a digital presentation using PowerPoint or Google Slides. There may also be specific requirements in the contents of your presentation.

In general, presenting your research consists of:
- Title
- Introduction: Background information on the project, purpose, real-world application, etc.
- Experimental Design: Hypothesis, independent and dependent variables, constants
- Procedure/Methods and Materials: Include pictures and diagrams
- Results: Present graphs and tables
- Analysis: Explain what the results mean and what the graphs/tables show
- Conclusion: Explain whether your hypothesis was supported, mention sources of error, and provide implications/recommendations for the future
- References: Cited sources

Whether it is a trifold board or digital presentation, make sure you stay concise in your explanations and add color/pictures to make it visually appealing!

I hope that helps! Feel free to ask if you have more questions or need clarification!

In addition to the information provided above, I recommend looking at step 6 in the Science Project Guide: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... fic-method

This will link you to information on the project display board and more, if that is what the fair you are entering requires.
