Need Help for Newtons Laws of Motion

Post by Bronwy_85 »

Hello everyone

For a science project I am working on that focuses on newtons laws of motion; I need some help making a couple points more clear. I know the basic concepts of the three rules, but I am having problems using them in practical situations. I want to describe how each law is shown in an unique; real world event and provide an example for each law. For example; I understand that the first law deals with motion, but I am not sure how to explain this in a way that understandable and practical.

Could someone please give each of newtons laws a thorough explanation and many examples?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hello!

Performing an experiment and thinking about your results is a great way to learn about scientific ideas, concepts, and their practical applications. Another resource you should try is our topic selection wizard here: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... round-info. This will help you find projects on Newton's Laws

Following this link, you can answer some questions about what you'd like to learn, and find experiments and projects you can do to help you learn about Newton's Laws in a practical sense.

Here's a page with experiments and projects that will help you learn about Newton's Laws and their applications: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... -of-motion.

Predict what you think will happen before performing your experiment, and once you find results, think about why things may have happened. Then, it would be helpful to read more about Newton's Laws on the webpages here to find some answers.

Hope this helps!
