my theory

Post by nano-intp »

"My mother has been suffering from inflammation in her eyes for twenty-three years. She uses eye drops, and she told me that sometimes her eyes are irritated and sometimes they calm down, but only with these drops. When I asked her for a detailed description of her condition, she told me that her inflammation is similar to having contaminated water in her eyes filled with bacteria. For a moment, I came up with a crazy idea based on my knowledge; there are several methods for purifying contaminated water in nature, and one of them is chlorine. I thought that maybe we could use it in the eyes. Despite knowing its dangers, I am confident that if we could make chlorine suitable for the composition of eye water, which is tears, we could treat this inflammation. I know the eye is sensitive, but this is a hypothesis and a suggestion. Finally, what do you think of this idea, my friend? Has it been suggested before, or is it the only crazy one I've come up with?" please i don't have nobody to answer my question so please answer

Dear friend,

I admire your approach to solving the problem via scientific ideology as well as reasoning, but I would like to add some pointers on which I would like for you to mediate upon before taking any action, which are:-

1)Human bodily fluids have very narrow range of suitable electrolyte concentration and becomes a bit difficult especially at individual scale, to find the safe one. What I'm saying basically, if you make a mistake, there will irreparable damage to her cornea.

2)Does your mother take any prescribed antibiotics for her condition? and if you could tell me perhaps any other symptoms she may have. Perhaps mention if she has uveitis or something like that.

3)Based on the current information I have inferred from your correspondence, It seems more likely to me as chronic inflammation, which is usually due to the immune system.

Otherwise, I would just say that your approach seemed pretty crazy...but lemme tell you that people had even crazier ideas earlier and you know, that's the whole essence of science. Hope to hear from you soon.

See ya!
