Lab Experiments for Biodegradable Plastic
Hello, in all honesty, science is a very difficult subject for me. I have been asked to create a lab experiment that will last the duration of the semester, about 3 months. I have decided on the subject of biodegradable plastics or reducing ecological footprints. My issue is that I don't know how to come up with a hypothesis for it and what to experiment with it. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Re: Lab Experiments for Biodegradable Plastic
Hi,
This is a very interesting and necessary field of research! To get started, I suggest looking through some projects here on Science Buddies. You can browse through projects based on area of science (https://www.sciencebuddies.org/?gad_sou ... pIQAvD_BwE) and search for specific keywords related to your interests!
To help you get started, I did a quick search for "Biodegradable materials" and found several related projects. https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... +materials
I hope this helps you get started! We are happy to answer any questions you may have about any of these projects or ideas that you come up with related to these projects. We can help you formulate a hypothesis also once you decide which project you would like to do.
All the best!
