Hello :)
I am working on a project that is attempting to decompose certain substances in a liquid. I would analyze the liquid to test its chemical composition. The ph has changed quite a bit, but I would really like to understand what the liquid contains.
Please advise on how I can go about doing this. Thanks a lot!

Hello,

To understand what the liquid contains, you could try the following methods:
- Acid-base reactions: These can indicate the presence of a certain substance.
- Scientific instruments: If you have access to tools such as spectroscopy or chromatography, they can be useful in determining chemical composition.
- Filtration: This method allows you to observe any solids present in the liquid.
- Visual observation: Changes in color and clarity can provide some insight.
- Simple known reactions: Tests with known reactants can help identify specific substances in the liquid.

I hope that helps!
