Smarter Farming with Aerial Photo Analysis

Post by AnanyaKandi »

Hi
I need some help with this project “ Smarter Farming with Aerial Photo Analysis”
1. I don’t have a digital camera. Can I use my phone instead to take the Ariel view picture?
2. I do not have any image editing software. Can you suggest bleep which is free? GIMP?
3. Am i supposed to do a presentation in a ppt or which format iam supposed to deliver this project output/ result?
4. Am i supposed to present this at any event at school and demo it to people?
If I need any help to review my project or inputs is there anyone that I can contact?

Thanks
Ananya

Hi,
1. Yes a phone can work for this project
2. I would also recommend GIMP but Pixlr can also work in a browser
3. ppt is a great way to present your work, but it depends what you are preforming this excitement for.
4. It depends your intent for doing this experiment. If there is a local science fair then it would be greta to present your results there.

Hello, Ananya,
Adding to the help from the expert, with respect to your question 3: the format for presenting your output/results will depend on where you will be presenting. If you do choose to submit your project to your school science fair or to a local or regional science fair, you will need to follow the specific presentation guidelines for the specific fair.

Check with your teacher or science teachers at your school to see if your school has a science and engineering fair. Or to find a science fair near you, here's a link to the Science Buddies science fair directory.

If you have more questions, be sure to let us know. And best of luck with your project!
