Science Fair Project (Will all parts of a plant regrow) HYPOTHESIS
Hello, I need help with my hypothesis, which is confusing for me. My materials are scallions and aloe leaves, I am supposed to cut the scallions in pieces of 2 inches, 4 inches, and 6 inches. Then the aloe I just take part of the leaves and put them in the water. How do I hypothesize comparing these plants?

Hello,
Testing which parts of a plant will regrow is a great project! Since you are measuring the amount of new growth each day and recording your measurements, your hypothesis could be about which parts of each plant you think will regrow the fastest or the slowest. You can also hypothesize which cut or which type of plant will regrow its roots. Finally, because you are testing both scallions and aloe leaves, you could hypothesize which type of plant will regrow the fastest or the most consistently. Researching both types of plants and their similarities or differences could also help create a strong hypothesis. Have fun with this project!
