Hi Lauriane,
Making an Alka-Seltzer Powered Lava Lamp is a really simple and fun activity! To do this activity, you only need empty bottles, hot and cold water, food coloring, vegetable oil, and an alka-seltzer tablet. From there, you can follow the instructions and see your lava lamp in action!
Have fun with this project,
Carissa

Hello Lauriane,

As noted in the lava lamp project, "this activity is not recommended for use as a science fair project. Good science fair projects have a stronger focus on controlling variables, taking accurate measurements, and analyzing data. To find a science fair project that is just right for you, browse our library of over 1,200 Science Fair Project Ideas or use the Topic Selection Wizard to get a personalized project recommendation."
