SOOOO... I know the science fair for my school is almost a month away but I'm not sure what to do it on! I know I want to do it on animals but I'm not sure what!!!

Hi! You were thinking about bleep else (a different thread you started) and are still undecided, and now you're thinking about a project about animals?

Is there a specific kind of animal you are thinking about or interested in and a question that you are considering for your project? Identifying the question you want to explore is the place to start.

Let us know, and someone might have an idea to help you find or develop a project that you will really enjoy. (If this involves animals like cats or dogs, do you have them available? There are several projects at Science Buddies that guide exploration of pet behavior in various ways... and one of those may be of interest if you have a pet/pets at home.)

A few ways to refine your looking if you don't have an idea:
1) Try the Topic Selection Wizard. It won't give you "just" animal-themed suggestions, but you might find bleep of interest in the recommendations: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... round-info

2) Browse the mammalian biology projects for your grade level:

Note that you want a project that does NOT have an asterisk at the end of the title if you want a full guided project. (You could also look at the zoology area.)

With a month ahead, you have a good amount of time to get bleep started, but if you plan to work with live animals (explore paw preference of toys, etc.), you will want to get started with enough time to gather plenty of data.

As always, you will want to make sure your project meets any rubric or criteria your teacher has provided.
