Display question

Post by erikws »

Does anyone know what "Recommends" Means on the display board.

My instructions show that item but not what it is. Help!
On the display board, what goes in the area marked "Recommended"?
I can't find anywhere what that information should be.
I appreciate any help!!!!

erikws,

I've never heard of a "Recommends" section being required on a display board, so I can't give you an answer off the top of my head. If you can give me a bit more information, though, I'll be able to help you.

What fair are you participating in? I will be able to help you figure this out if I know what fair(s) you are doing.

Also, what is your project? I will be better able to help you if I know what you are doing.

Thanks,
All the best,
Terik

What is recommendation?

Post by erikws »

My project is "Which type of cable-stayed bridge will encounter the least deflection when weight is added?"

Right now it is for school (8th grade). I made it to state last year and am trying to do the same this year. The teacher gave us a piece of paper that shows the project board layout. In the bottom right hand corner
side by side it shows - Recommendation for one and Bibliography for the other. It is due on Monday so I am trying to get it all completed by then.

We are still on Christmas break so I can't ask my teacher.

hi!

I have never heard of a "recommend" section on a display board either. However, I looked it up on google, and I found this site:

http://www.makeitsolar.com/science-fair ... yout-2.htm

It says that you need to write information about related topics that you might want to study later, and you should also write about the sources that gave you good information.

Hope this helps!

Are you sure that the reccomend and bibliography aren't the same section? Often people list a few good reference sources on their board, so I have a sneaking suspicion that the section is "Reccomended Bibliography," which is basically a list of three - five sources of information that were particularly helpful to you.
