Ok, so I've known that crown gall is from Agrobacterium tumefaciens, but is there anything in a science lab or in my house I could to get a simalar reaction? I'm sure there has to be a way. It's silly to think not so.

hi!

I do not know of anything in the labs that can cause crown gall, but I found a website that sells Agrobacterium tumefaciens:

http://www.sciencestuff.com/prod/5Ls-LiveBac/BLB1002

it is $8 plus $5 shipping if your puchase is under $30

hope this helps!

Tim,

A. tumefaciens is a bacteria, a living organism. Just like you can't mix chemicals at your school and make a dog, you can't mix chemicals and get bacteria. You will need to order the bacteria from a supplier, like Sonia and Jessica have suggested.
All the best,
Terik

You might check your local phone directory for labs that might have this, or try searching on the internet to find one that can sell it to you and ship it. Good luck!
