My question is: How does chemical reaction relate to taste and taste buds???

I was able to find this website that explains some of the intracellular reactions associated with taste:

Figure 12 is the cascade of reactions associated with the sweet taste.

Dear reader, do you no of anyone who could help me and my partner do an interview through email??????????? We despritly someone. They dont have to be an expert on the previous question. The most the need to no is about taste and or tast buds.
