Re: Science project enhancement
Just a thought, try selecting non-boring items around the house. I'm just look looking around the desk near the computer and see a stapler, a paperback book and a floppy disk. One might be able to make some science based on experimenting on these objects. Just some thoughts to get the creative juices flowing.
Cheers!

Which container best limits heat transfer?
Same thoughts in previous mail apply to choosing objects. One need only look for common, non-boring containers (e.g., pots and pans, and their lids) in your environment to find container objects and measure how they limit heat transfer. I have no idea what the results will be, but it's a good idea to have a small, but reasonably diverse and complete set. Anyone have any thoughts?
Very important, also note, since we're talking about heat, apply heat at a level lower than would burn skin or cause flames.
