How does music affect plant growth?
I am almost done with the research for this project, but I need to find out one thing: What are the independent and dependent variables in this experiment? If it helps you understand what I am doing, here is the URL that will take you to the website that gives you the basics: http://www.buzzle.com/articles/does-mus ... rowth.html Thank you for your help!

Re: How does music affect plant growth?
Clearly the music (or the different genres of music) is the independent variable and the plant growth is the dependent variable.
Hope that helps

Hi marzo14,
I understand that you are almost finished with your experiment, but I wanted to let you know that Science Buddies also has great advice for different ways to measure plant growth: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... owth.shtml
Let us know if you need any help with interpreting your data! (Just post again in this same thread.)
