Need 3 sources!

Post by sciencebiology101 »

Hello Everyone!

Im doing my experiment on trying to find out how much voltage does each type of metal create using a voltage meter also finding out if the metal makes the bulb lite. My homework is to do a research paper. I need to have three sources to provide evidence to support my hypothesis. I cannot find any article related to my topic on Google and I have tried every different search I could do. The only article i found was your article on "Which Materials are the Best Conductors?"

If you could find me 3 sources for my experiment, that will be great. If you need more information on my experiment let me know.

This paper is due on Monday September 30, 2013. If you could get me 3 sources before the 28 of September, that will be great.

Thanks

Hi,

Please state your hypothesis and briefly describe your experiments. Once i know what you did and for what purpose, i can suggest some references.

Thanks,

Scibee

Hi,

Thanks for responding!
My hypothesis is: If I use a copper strip to light a bulb, then the bulb will light the brightest
My experiment: I will be using a small bulb, a 6V battery, alligator clips, and an voltage meter to figure out what kind of metal created the most voltage and if it light's the bulb. The metals i will use will be copper, silver, aluminum, gold, and bronze.

Hi!

I have a few places in mind regarding where to find references - remember that they don't always have to be websites. Many books on conductors and materials science exist in the library - I've personally used many of them in previous science projects, and they really are a big help. Furthermore, try scholar.google.com. There you can find papers published by scientists regarding the various properties of different materials. With these two sources, I don't think three references should be too hard to find. :)

Good luck!
