How fast do water molecules evaporate, when using a heat source such as, a hair dryer?





please help me! :( :(
i need a good grade in this class!

hi!

i believe the rate of evaporation of water molecules would depend on the heat of the blow dryer. There are also many other factors that control the rate. Here is a site to better explain the rate of evaporation:

Also, I can't give you an answer because not all hair dryers are the same. They have different temperature and strength of air settings.

Depends on a lot of things.

The hair dryer
The surface area of the water
The humidity
The ambient temperature in the water and in the air

As a safety thing...operating a powerful electric appliance like a hair dryer anywhere near water is dangerous. Make sure your outlet has a ground fault interrupt (and if you don't know what that is, don't do it)
