How does temperature affect how far a Rubber Band will Shoot

Post by Reese_1999 »

I have tested how far a Rubber Band shoots at different temperatures. My data shows that the Rubber Bands shoot further at colder temperatures than warm temperatures. I am looking for information to explain why the Rubber Bands shoot further at colder temperatures. Any advice on where to look?

Hi Reese,

I think searching for information on "rubber bands and temperature" or "elasticity and temperature" will find you some good resources to you to analyze your data.

Additionally, a different, but related experience outlined on this site might provide some information:

Good luck!
