Longest Lasting Brand-Named Alkaline Batteries Research
I'm tryying to find good past studies on "Longest Lasting Brand-Named Alkaline Batteries Research". I' tesing out Duracel, Energizer, Eveready, and Maxell D Batteries. Can you guys help!?

Battery life
Consumer Reports has done a number of studies over the years on battery life. If you know a subscriber to their electronic version, you can look the studies up on the web. Otherwise, you may have to go to the library and look up in their index and get a hard copy.
One thing I remember about battery studies. Battery life depends on current. Battery A may last longer than battery B when the current draw is low, say 0.01 amps, but battery B would last longer under higher current draw, say 0.1 amps.

I've found this very usefull site that has past Science Fair Experiments. This one studie was so amazingly the same experiemtn with almost the same batteries and types of batteries. Experts, show this site to other people thta have related experiements.

Hi there,
this site has some basics about how batteries work. You should include some battery theory in your presentation. Most battery experiments seem to turn into product comparisons and may not address the actual science in the experiment, try to be aware of this.

Are you sure you haven't been using the AC adapter during these 2 years? As previously stated, most rechargable batteries have a power rating, but I have not seen this on many smaller electronic style batteries. An example would be a AA rechargable cell has a rating of 2100mAh (mili-Amp hours). Check out these tables...
