Project Question: I am interested in doing a science experiment related to sports medicine/science etc. as i am an athlete (endurance) and love combining science to human movement. I am stuck with an idea and I am thinking of something like vow max or something but I want it to be really interesting. like I said i am an endurance athlete and I want to eventually become involved with sports medicine/science

Hi,

I really want to do an amazing, interesting science project involving sports science /biomechanics/ medicine . movement etc.

I am just stuck with ideas. I don't want anything to simple I really want to challenge myself and take on something big. I have though of things like VO2 Max, Anaerobic Threshold, Passive vs Active Recovery but just don't have the "experiment factor"

Any ideas and guidance is greatly appreciated

Thankyou
Nathan

There are lots of great projects in sports science and biomechanics!

Your "experimental factor" is something you hypothesize MAY have an AFFECT on some aspect of performance (VO2 max, anaerobic threshold, passive vs. active recovery). Take some time to brainstorm some different scenarios that might effect a certain performance factor and then determine how you might test them. Some of these performance measurements are easy to measure with some simple equipment and a few test subjects.

Have fun!
