Hi everybody, I am working for health organization. I am also a college student. I have to analyze my diet and determine what is good about my diet. But I have to make a two page report. The only thing I got was a half of a page. Could anyone help me just telling things that are good about a good a healthy diet?

Re: analyze my diet and determine
Hi,
This forum is actually for middle school students asking about science fair projects, so not quite the place to be posting this question.
That said, there are a lot of reasons to adopt a healthy diet. Disease prevention is probably the one that you will be able to get the most information about (Type II Diabetes, heart disease, cancer, hypertension...all of these diseases are related to diet as are a number of other ones). If you are looking for specific resources, books such as The China Study, Fast Food Nation, and Omnivores Dilemma, will provide you with a good deal of information. There are also some documentaries such as Fast Food Nation and Food, Inc. that should give you a lot of information about how food impacts our health (and the health of the planet).
Good luck,
Alexis
