Chemical formula?

Post by deleted-303333 »

Hello.

I have to write an equation for the reaction between iodized table salt and bleach. The directions say to write bleach as just Cl2 because it behaves as though only chlorine were dissolved. My main issue is iodized table salt. I know table salt is NaCl, but how do I denote that it is iodized?

So far I just have:
NaCl + Cl2

Hi mashleys,

Is this question related to a science fair project? This forum is specifically intended for students who need help with a project for a school science fair. If this is a homework question or another assignment, unfortunately this isn't the right place to ask.
