Can u give me the background information on styrofoam cups
and also the things that make up styrofoam cups
i cant seem to find anything out.

Styrofoam cups are composed of polystyrene. Here is a good source of info:

The section under "solid foam" describes the manufacture and chemical properties of "Styrofoam"
