Compost Disposal
I am doing an experiment with compost and on the forms I fill out for science fair, it asks about proper disposal methods for potentially harmful bacteria. How would I dispose of my compost in a safe way?

Re: Compost Disposal
You should first check with your science teachers to see what ways they would recommend in the school. However, in general, bleach is a great way to safely kill the bacteria you work with, and it can be poured down the sink afterwards. (Soak your items that have been exposed to the harmful bacteria in bleach for at least 30 minutes).
Hope this helps,
