Video games and reaction time

Postby Joss123 » Tue Jan 05, 2016 4:58 pm

How does playing video games speed up your reaction time? I have tested that it does, but I'm looking for an easy way to state how it actually works! The science words! Please help. Thank you.

Hi, this is a very interesting project! You could say that playing video games trains an individual to reduce reaction times. You may want to specify the type of video games played by the participants. Also here's a study that showed that playing action video games reduced reaction time: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2871325/

I hope this helps!
