Resonant Material Suggestion

Post by Vmusic »

Hi,
I am making a violin out of a polymer. I would like suggestions on what might offer the most resonance?

I looked online for tables or resonance but couldn't find any.

Yes, of course strength is somewhat of a consideration. But I thought first to identify the best resonator.

Thanks,

Hi Vmusic!

You can submit "what polymers offer the most resonance in a violin?" or just "violin resonance" to answers.com to research your idea.

Some notes:

Two notes in using answers.com:

1. Generally, the "Sponsored Links" are commercials. So, it's best to skip them and use only the "Web Results."

2. With answers.com, you may need to tweak your wording for best results.
Cheers!
