I just have a quick question: how can this project be helpful in life?

Hi LJ18,

I’m assuming that you are asking about the project described here:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ml#summary

This project is about measuring the strength of a material (spaghetti strands) to find out how the breaking strength changes due to bundling materials together.

Similar kinds of material testing are commonly used to find out if components of buildings, bridges, roads, and machinery are suitable for the intended purposes. For example, it’s important to build bridges that won’t collapse when cars and trucks drive over them. Several types of strength tests might be used to find out if materials for bridge construction are up to the task.

I hope this helps. Please ask again if you have more questions.
