Recording on a wire (hook up wire soldering)

Post by deleted-403262 »

We are attempting to build a recorder "on wire" but have one question. When soldering once piece of hook up wire to one end of the magnet wire and the other hook up wire to the other end of the magnet wire....what do you do with the other ends of the wire.
1. Do you solder each end to a separate phone jack to plug into the amplifier or do you solder the two ends to one phone jack for the amplifier. Will I end up with two phone jack plug ins or just one.

Hi uriah77,
Sorry about the delayed response. You should end up with 1 based on the description of the experiment procedure.

Good Luck with your experiment!
