Hi,
We are getting ready to do this project and using the recommendations in the Materials listed for the project.
Wondering if it would be possible to use 30ml syringes to dispense the moisturizer onto the gelatin in the petri dish instead of the plastic wrap/spoon? Not sure if s syringe would work with a thicker (Eucerin) type product? Thoughts?
Thank you!
Jen

I think that you could use a 30mL syringe to suck up the moisturizer and apply it to the dish. The plastic wrap and spoon is the cheapest way because you would need a new syringe for each moisturizer. The thicker products might be fine going through the syringe if the opening is not too small. You can test a sample of the thicker products to see if using a syringe would work, then you know it will work for the other products. The important idea is that you want to be sure that you avoid contaminating your samples.
