help with picking a project

Post by jq330 »

I ahve to do a science fair for school, but I want a really good project that I could enter other science fairs with as well. I want to do it on a topic I'm interested in. I more of a social science, history, and philosphy type person. Sciencebuddies had some recommendaton after I had done the survey, but those projects weren't really something I was interested in, and most of them were about human behavior and we're not allowed to do experiments testing human behavior. Could you please help me come up with a project?

Hello,

Have you looked at this page: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/mentorin ... tion.shtml

There are also sample projects to look at. But what I would recommend is to sit down and spend 30 minutes brainstorming (use the tips on our page). Start with everyday phenomena that interest you e.g. how human beings perceive their peers by appearance. Write a list for yourself and pay attention to the 3 - 5 things that really interest you, and then go from there.
