Hi
So it is said that grape juice fruit is not supposed to be taken with anti cholesterol drugs since it unable them to work and I would like to prove that as my science expo project but I do not know how to conduct the experiment therefore I would really appreciate it if you would help me with how I can conduct the project.
I would like a response as soon as possible please.
Thank you

Hello! Thank you for you patience in waiting for a response.
It sounds like you've got a solid base idea for your project, and just need to begin filling out the details. I find it much easier to design an experiment after reading about the subject as much as I can - and would encourage you to do the same. Can you find an article that lists what substances in grapefruit juice interfere with the drug? Maybe a description of the reaction in the body, or a list of other foods that might do the same thing? Do some background research, and you will see lots of potential questions to explore, materials to use, etc.
It is also important to establish a base question for your project. You want to prove that grapefruit juice inhibits cholesterol medication, but this is not a question, and is an already established fact! How can you change this up to make it a new question that you can test? Would you want to compare drug concentrations, brands, or even various juices? Think about how to make the project your own
I would then take a look at Science Buddies' pages on designing an experiment, and follow their guidelines to set up yours. Here's the link, and good luck! https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... hypothesis
