salt

Hello,

I am doing the "What makes ice melt the fastest" project. I'm not sure if I use iodized salt or not?

Thanks,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,

I'm assuming that you're working on the project described here:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... lt-fastest

Iodized table salt contains only a tiny amount (less than 0.01%) of potassium iodide and it is very easy to find. Iodized salt should work just fine for this project.

I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.
