Ideas for my School Personal Project

I have to complete a personal project for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program that I am in, I have about two months to complete it over the summer but will have to start the planning phase soon and do not have any ideas for what to do. I am very interested in the social sciences or creating something that will help people with disabilities such a Parkinson's disease. PLEASE if anyone has any ideas, let me know!

I am not familiar with this project. Could you please describe what it requires or include some links so we can see the guidelines and maybe some examples of completed projects.
