Steve Wozniak (for students to read)

Hi all students,

Yesterday I got the opportunity to attend a dinner hosted by my employer. The guest speaker for the night was Steve Wozniak (http://www.woz.org/). He is the co-founder of Apple along with Steve Jobs.

During his one hour talk about his condensed version of his life up to the creation of Apple he mentioned something very interesting that relates to this forum. He mentioned that he used to join HS Science Fair Projects (multiple times) and build very complicated projects (I believe he built 'counting machines' using the very first chips that he got from his dad and also from 'pay' mowing lawns etc). All this were in the days when computers were only found in big companies (1970's).

And he talked about how we was determined ever since high school days that he was going to be the best engineer ever. And look where he is now! He invented the first Personal Computer (Apple I and Apple II). And Apple now produces the most popular item in the world: the iPod.

I just wanted to post this because as he was talking about his participation in his Science Fair projects, I remembered of all of you current students working hard on your own science projects. You should work on your projects with great confidence that someday it will bring good to this world.
