stem cells bioengineering for heart muscle

Post by deleted-651918 »

Hi, I am a student in the 10th grade, and for my science fair project I wanted to follow the bioengineering a vital organ science fair, however instead of it being about a kidney, I wanted it to be about muscle tissue. Can you help me go about this project.

I can help you with your stem cell project, but first I need to know if you have access to a university lab with a BSL2 tissue culture hood, incubators, centrifuges and all the other equipment and reagents needed to do organ culture. If you don't have such facilities and someone to train you then I don't see any chance that you can do a project like this.

Let me know where you will be working and give more details about your proposed project.
