Difficulty
I chose the helicopter lift off experiment but i couldn't do the experiment vecause o did not fin a digital tachometer. How do i do it because the wole project is due next week monday. The science fair board and lab notebook everything.

I don't see a way to do the experiment without using a tachometer to measure the rotor speed. The materials section of the project suggests using the digital tachometer at the following link:

can use a non digital tachometer to perform the experiment? like the ones in cars because i could not order the digital on and every store i went to only had the ones in cars

Hi,
I think as long as you have a tachometer that is a "non-contact" type and give you an rpm readout, you should be able to perform the experiment. Do you have a model # that you were looking at at the store?
