Hi,
You confused me because the title of your post was the same as your last post but really you have a new question for us to answer!
Research designs are the style of the experiment and how you think about making sure that your experiment can answer the question that you have. Components of research design are things like variables and controls, how large a sample size to use, whether the person actually performing the experiment knows what is in the test soluition of if they are "blinded".
There is some information on the science buddies website about research design or experimental design. The information about variables and hypothesis is very useful

I found a nice government website that talks about research design for clinical trials for drugs. Those can be very complicated research designs with lots of variables, samples and cost lots of money!!

WHat kind of example research designs you are looking for are? are they for helping to design your project about degrading lead? or is this a more general question?
Best of luck,
Caroline
