Hi Machowater101,
I'm assuming that you're working on the project described here:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ys#summary
This project is about vehicles that use side-to-side motion of the steering mechanism to move forward. So you really can't use a scooter or a bike for this project. Instead you need one of the recommended toys or another that is propelled by moving the steering mechanism.
One way to make the project easier is to read over the project background, bibliography and procedure. When you are familiar with this information, working through the project will be a snap.
I hope this helps. Please ask again if you have more questions.
A. Norman
