and we were supposed to some do statistic tests such as ANOVA or T-test. Which one should I choose and what information am I supposed to put in (Since this prj having the dependent variable of both height and weight)? Thank you very much

So I followed this project, https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... skin-moist
and we were supposed to some do statistic tests such as ANOVA or T-test. Which one should I choose and what information am I supposed to put in (Since this prj having the dependent variable of both height and weight)? Thank you very much

Re: Analyzing data for Moisturizers
Hi nhanhoang,
A t-test is normally used to compare two data sets. For example, you might compare results from the control (no moisturizer) with results for one of the moisturizers. And you could make paired comparisons between the control and each of the test moisturizers.
ANOVA is normally used when you have more than two data sets to compare. So this is a more efficient way to analyze the results of your experiment. There are two independent variables in this experiment. It is possible to conduct a two-factor ANOVA. This analysis can be used to find out if either or both of the factors (the independent variables) had effects on a dependent variable.
More details about ANOVA can be found here:
https://www.statisticshowto.datascience ... ing/anova/
https://www.spss-tutorials.com/anova-what-is-it/
You should separately analyze the height and weight data. That is, conduct an ANOVA for both data sets.
I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.
