Hello and welcome to Science Buddies,

The Science Buddies project guide has a section "Constructing a Hypothesis" which explains the use of dependent and independent variables in a science project.

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ience-fair

Read through that section, including the examples, and see if you can figure out which is(are) the independent variable(s) and which is the dependent variable. Let us know if this project guide helps and do not hesitate to ask more questions!
