Is 5 drops of ferrofluid or 1 drop of ferrofluid more effective in removing oil from an oil spill?
Hello ScienceBuddies! I have extracted oil using 5 drops of ferrofluid, but I am wondering if using 1 drop could actually increase the efficiency rate.
Thanks! Good day or night

Hi,
Sounds like you have an interesting question that you could test with an experiment in your project. To do that you'd need to define “efficiency rate” and be able to measure it. Then you'd measure the efficiency rate with 1 drop of ferrofluid and again with 5 drops.
I hope this helps. Please ask again if you have more questions.
