i could use some insight please =)
so i'm doing an experiment on exposing CDs to extreme conditions and then comparing the sound to a CD that wasn't stressed.
i'm finished with the destruction part, and im trying to find a computer program that shows the "shape" of the sound (like the waves across a bar kinda thing).
i've been googling, and all i can find are these programs that have like an oscilloscope and an FFt analyzer, but it doesnt measure CDs (or i just dont know how to work it to measure a CD)
so does anyone know of a program that can preform my desired task?

Re: sound measuring software
I believe Sound Forge software does this. It is an expensive program, but they have a free demo you can download. (Check with your parents first!) I have never used it myself, but I've seen people use it and show the waveforms.i<3ciencias wrote:i could use some insight please =)
