Greetings!
Generally speaking, nerves within the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) do not regenerate. However, it has been documented that some of the nerves that make up the peripheral nervous system (the nerves outside of the brain and spinal cord) have the ability to regenerate, if the damage is small.
