Hi! im Kelsey, and I am curious about how the DNA portion of this project works!! How can I show my end of DNA at the end. after I use the wooden thing, how do i do the rest of the project! I need answers fast! Thank you, Kelsey

Hello,
This experiment offers an in depth video that goes through each step of the experiment. I would recommend following along with the video step by step and pausing the video as you do it.
If you still do not find this helpful, it seems you are getting confused with the last step of the project where you analyze the DNA. Make sure you give the liquids time to separate. You are looking for a gooey substance at the surface of your mixture.

Hi - In addition to the help you already received, please note that the activity you were viewing is an "activity." It is not designed to be used as a science project (for a school assignment or science fair, for example).

There are several DNA projects at Science Buddies that are designed as independent projects. The "strawberry DNA" one is a beginner level, however, and may not be difficult enough for your grade level:
