I am unable to use the software to test my images through the diffraction grating and cannot generate an absorbance spectrum. Is there another software I could use besides the one this website gave?

Sure, here's a few suggestions of alternative softwares you can use; these ones are apps.
1) Colorimetrix
2) StellarRAD Light Measurement App
3) Dominant Wavelength Light Spectrometer
4) Colorometer (take a look at this link to figure out how to use it: https://www.chemedx.org/blog/use-your-s ... photometer)
If some of these apps don't work because of a certain phone you have, let me know and I will help you further. Or let me know if these apps don't give you the proper information you are looking for, I can direct you more.
