Ultrasonic levitator

Hello! We're working on ultrasonic levitator project. We managed to get it to work with one inverter but it was fairly weak - we got one piece of foam levitating but the transmitters were only about 1 cm above each other. We followed instructions to add additional inverter and the signal seems to be stronger but we are not able to levitate the foam pieces as they always fall off or are pushed off. Any ideas how to approach it / fix it? Thanks

Hi,

1. I'm confused by your reference to an "additional inverter" - the project only references one inverter. My best guess is that you are getting the H-bridge and inverter chips mixed up. They may look similar (black plastic rectangles with a bunch of pins) but they are very different things. So, I'm going to interpret your post to mean that you started with just the H-bridge (the first chip) and then you added a single inverter (the second chip).

2. What voltage power supply are you using? When I tested this project it worked best with a 12V or 18V external power supply. It would just barely work occasionally with a 9V battery and didn't work at all just using 5V from the Arduino.
