Post by needshelprightnowtoday »

ok, my science teacher has unmercifully given us one week to complete a working model of a tsunami. we had an idea to make clay in the form of the ocean florr in a tub and then put in the water and then use a sander to act as the earthquake
that didn't work
we need help really really quick

thank you

Needshelprightnowtoday:

Try building a long narrow rectangle out of scrap lumber (1X4's), line it with plastic and fill with water.

Use different size (weight) hammers to hit one end of the trough and measure wave height and speed of travel.
