Our Project

Post by hayl-sami-science »

My friend and I are working on a project for Earth Science. We want to do something that has to do with helping the animals that are affected by global warming and climate changes. We would really like to try to help the animals by spreading awareness in our community, but we are not sure where to find information on the topic. We are also at a loss of how to get started. Please get back to us if you have any ideas or information (the sooner the better). Thank you! :D

Hi Hayl-Sami,

This is an excellent topic for a science fair project, but you need to narrow your question down to a specific topic. I suggest that you check out the project ideas on the science buddies website and review the projects on the earth and environmental topics. This should give you ideas about the type of experiments that you could do. You should also review the information on the scientific review committee if you are thinking about doing a project with vertebrate animals. You will find that it will be easier to do a project using an invertebrate animal like Daphnia. Then go to the science fair project guide and start from the beginning with a specific question that can be answered by doing an experiment. The solution to global warming and climate change will be made with one experiment at a time, so your research can definitely help that cause.

Let us know if you have any questions in the future. Good luck!
